I’ve seen those guys in a bunch of car related videos... They seem to have WAY too much money for their age (late 20s early 30s, owning Carrera 2.7 RS and a bunch of other stuff that are VERY expensive) and have a website... that littteraly shows nothing but a bunch of pictures, asking you to register.
So my questions being what the hell is that !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , where the hell do they get their funding and why do NYC hipsters suddenly get interests in classic cars??? Just the name “It’s white noise” for what is a car site, is hipsterish to quite a certain extent...

Very popular in the car spotting game. About as popular if not more popular than Shmee and Salomondrin. There really isn’t any reason to dislike them. They’re huge on driving their exotic cars where people normally never get to see them. They are very active with their fans. Basically it’s the best way to see all of the cool cars you would never get to drive if you don’t have enough money to join one of those “pick any car for the weekend” clubs. Elizabeth is the name of the woman who started it I believe. I’m not sure what she does but she’s super cool from what I’ve see of her.

Yeah, maybe some kind of a tax scheme of some kind... Random photo-website, that “buys insanely expensive cars” in order for investors who are family members of the owner of the company, to get massive tax deduction because they “invested” in a company??

The website is intended to be used as a social platform for car photographers, I think.
As for the people behind it, Andrew White is an entrepreneur and Elizabeth White has worked for McLaren before. That should probably explain where the money comes from.
Here’s the article I got the info from: http://skullsandsnaps.blogspot.com/2015/03/nothin…

So they just shoot cars? But they are not as popular as Schmee... Their twitter account barely gets any followers and their instagram has like 4 or 5 times less subscribers than him... Not to mention they don’t have a youtube account nor do they produce anything else other than pictures... I’ll try and look a bit deeper into the “founder” history... It’s her that I have seen getting Nakai do a RWB in NYC for TheDrive and she is the owner of that 2.7 RS also...

ItsWhiteNoise is a community of automotive content creators, the bigger people help smaller, but talented people get their content (be it videos, photography, articles or whatnot) get out there through their cumulative social web.
Most of the more notorious Car Vloggers are associated with them: like Shmee150, SebDelanney, SupercarsOfLondon and so on and so forth.
ItsWhiteNoise was founded by Elizabeth White, as far as I can research she used to work for McLaren and is married to a man named Andrew Zalasin who is a Venture Capital and Private Equity investor.
Her objective is to democratise social outreach and sort of unite Automotive Content Creators in a sort of guild, she is a MASSIVE petrolhead, I recommend you watch her RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF 911 build on Drive (and several other channels on youtube) if you havent already (check her expressions on Seb Delanney’s video when it’s finished, it’s amazing)
Hope it helps.

Found this... Apparently she was working in marketing for Perrier, then got a job at McLaren USA. So how does that allow you, to create a company that does not seem to have any way of generating revenues, to buy 2.7 RS, a 918 and many other cars??? She apparently married quite well :)
Of course, she concludes the interview with “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible.”... :)

Yeah as soon as I got her name I found this
http://skullsandsnaps.blogspot.jp/2015/03/nothin…
So it looks like massive fundings from the husband and quite a following of courtesans :)

I am certain her husband’s money probably has influence, though she is a very respected marketer and has worked to bring Perrier to America and McLaren as well, I can only assume her services are very very expensive since she has done such a great job.
I think she is making quite an impact in social media with this, specially since her cars are so perfectly specced.

hum... interesting... I still don’t see how the hell something like Itswhitenoise could be a viable company though... I would on the otherh and see it as potential “investor hideout”.

She’s a huge fan of cars. When it’s that much of a passion I doubt she cares about the revenue from the social media presence. It doesn’t matter to me whether she has help from her husband or is independently wealthy. In the car spotting community she is fairly famous. To answer one of your questions from earlier about the website I believe that the “application” is for photographers that would like to be able to post things to official “It’s White Noise” social media pages. I remember seeing an interview with her one time where she explained everything she wanted to do. Can’t remember where that was though. There’s no reason to be skeptical of her though. It’s a completely legitimate group of enthusiasts.

She has cars all over the world, but yeah it’s more of a community than a single person. Most of her social media presence is through twitter and snapchat, with the snaps coming from members who cover various auto shows or just regular spotting.
I got to see her 918 in person last summer when she brought it up to do the Blacklist Rally, a very unique event in this part of Canada.

Social media is powerful and profitable, since she isn’t charging for use of the media web they have, my guess is whe is charging anyone who wants a sponsorship or some exposure.
I can imagine those Vossen wheels on the GT3 RS and GT4 probably were sponsored, Car Vloggers are an amazing way to get publicity in the car world, look at Yannimize on YT and places like DUB customs in England (they do most of the British YTs custom work) they made a name for themselves through sponsoring YT famous people.
I am sure controlling a web of content creators can be a powerful and profitable business, not right away, but I figure places like Maker Studios and DFTBA and stuff were pretty insignificant at one point, but they make millions off their content creators now...

As others have said...ItsWhiteNoise is a bit like CarLifeStyle and BlackListLifestyle in that its a club of sorts for photographers and gearheads.
Elizabeth’s a massive influencer in automotive social media—a boost from her relations can do huge things for a page.
Being
an aquantince to Elizabeth I can tell you that she’s still involved at
McLaren (has the down-low on upcoming projects) and yes a lot of the money does come from Zalasin.
You can hate, but I love her.

I agree--she’s pretty much the female equivalent of Alejandro Salomon, albiet without a YT channel
